About the Award

The Women in Leadership Award is a prestigious accolade designed to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of women leaders within the commercial vehicle sector. This award honors women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, innovation and a commitment to advancing the industry through their roles. It highlights their strategic vision, influence and dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.

Please review the criteria below and submit your nominations by December 15, 2024.

Criteria

  1. Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, including strategic vision, decision-making and the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  2. Innovation and Impact: Proven track record of driving innovation within the commercial vehicle industry, contributing to significant advancements or improvements.
  3. Industry Contribution: Significant contributions to the commercial vehicle sector, including successful projects, initiatives or improvements that have advanced the industry.
  4. Advocacy and Mentorship: Active role in mentoring and supporting other women in the industry, promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.

Nomination Process

Eligibility:

  • Nominees must be women who hold or have held a leadership position within the commercial vehicle industry.
  • The nominee must have demonstrated significant contributions to the industry and leadership excellence.

REGISTER FOR HDAW’25

Submission of Nominations:

  • Nominations can be submitted by colleagues, industry peers or self-nominations.
  • Please fill out the nomination form available below.

Required Documents:

  • Completed nomination form with detailed information about the nominee’s background and achievements.
  • A statement (500-1000 words) outlining how the nominee meets the award criteria, including examples of leadership, innovation and impact.

Review and Selection:

  • Nominations will be reviewed by the HDAW Ownership.
  • The selection panel will assess nominees based on the established criteria and select the most deserving candidate.

Award Announcement:

  • The winner will be announced, by the sponsor, at the HDAW’25 Opening General Session on January 21, 2025.
  • The award includes a trophy or plaque, recognition in industry publications, and an opportunity to speak at the HDAWomen’s reception later that day.

Deadline:

  • Nominations must be submitted by December 15, 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.
